Project Brief
Intrade had previously developed Murphy's Trucks website, which incorporated the company's sales, rentals, doe testing and recovery sectors. Due to the expanding nature of their rental department it became neccessary for a standalone web system - www.vanrentals.ie.
Solution
Configuration to the Intrade Solutions Intrapublisher CMS was required to allow both websites www.murphystrucks.ie & www.vanrentals.ie run off one master database (IntraPublisher enables Van Rentals staff to add and amend site content as required). Any updates to the rentals & news sectors will be mirrored on both websites. Additonal IntraPublisher CMS components where also set in place for the Van Rentals standalone website.
A banner ad and useful links component was set in place to allow staff at Van Rentals advertise for companies which will be associated with the firm. Companies such as House Removal, Vehicle Insurance and so on. A component was also set in place to allow staff display an unlimited number of photos per rental vehicle.
